Parents Area : School Vision / Aims The Elloughton School Aims have been formed and refined over a number of years. They include the following:
To achieve a quality learning experience for all our children through:
Enabling all our children to achieve their potential across all areas of the curriculum, including core curriculum, foundation subjects, R.E. and cross-curricular studies;
Promoting the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of all our pupils;
Meeting the educational needs of our children through the appropriate use of staffing, resources accommodation and external agencies;
Ensuring that the ethos of the school supports all our children in their acquisition of confidence, independence and the ability to question and argue rationally;
Ensuring that the children learn to treat other people, including their peers, with respect, consideration, tolerance, compassion and sensitivity and thus acquire the social skills needed for society.
For a full list of the School Aims please ask at the school office.
All schools now have to have a Home School Agreement. New parents are issued with a copy of the policy.
